But it's really a distraction. If you're trying to protect someone, you make yourself the target by fleeing and making a lot of noise. And while you're running, you have time to think of a backup plan.
At least, you only need to use that if you're out of options in the first place. I've used it to draw monsters away from crowds of bystanders before.

That's how I do it, anyway. I'm strong, but being crafty has saved my skin more times than my power ever will.

That depends on the fight. I mean, if we're talking about a serious fight from home, I'd try my best to disable the other guy before they even knew I was there.

Apparently, I inherited it from Jonathan after it skipped a generation with my father.
No one really told me what it was until I was older, so in my youth I never really understood why I could do the things I could, just that I could.
